Brogan's 1st Haircut

My sweet boy had his first hair cut yesterday! I didn't think a few weeks ago that I'd be as emotional as I was. It was definitely sad seeing those sweet baby curls hit the floor but it was very much needed! Brogan did GREAT! He sat so still, it was unbelievable. I thought for sure that my little wiggle worm would try his hardest to get down from the chair. We made sure to bring a long some suckers to help keep him occupied, just in case!

Afterwards, I decided to treat him to a cupcake from a local cupcake shop, Daddycakes (even though he had already had 2 suckers and NO lunch...oops!).
We had so much fun! I'm so proud of our little man! When we got home, he was SO sleepy that he hardly ate lunch. I put him down for his nap and he slept 3 hours and 45 minutes! THANK THE LORD! This mama was able to craft, clean, and do laundry! I was tempted to lay down for a bit but I felt guilty...hehe!

The rest of the day/evening, we both kept saying how Brogan looked so different and so grown up! I can't believe in less than a month he'll be turning 2 years old. I'm not ready.











And because my son is comletely obsessed with blowing bubbles, before dinner we enjoyed some time outside doing just that! I love how close he needs to put the bubble wand to his mouth! I kept wiping bubble residue off his lips! Sweet boy...
