30 Day Shred....Worth it?




Ok, so I've heard mixed reviews from people I know on Jillian's 30 Day Shred. I'm REALLY needing to get in shape for Rent (and for my sanity) and need something that won't take up too much time out of my morning. Obviously I know that anything will work as long as you stick to it...but still, I need advice! Or other good workouts...

  1. We have a set called the 10 minute trainer. Each workout is 10 minutes long. They are INTENSE. Feels like you have done 30 minutes, even though it is only 10. It involves resistance bands and stuff like that. The workouts are total body (I curse that man the whole 10 minutes for that one)Cardio, lower body, abs, and yoga. I don't think you can buy them at the store, but they are available online. It is beachbody.com or something like that. I can get you the actual address if you want, just let me know.

  2. 30 day shred is amazing! it totally kicks your butt, but it's good stuff! i had a procedure done 1 1/2 wks ago and haven't been able to start it back up, but strangely, I miss it! waht i like about it is that you're not doing the same thing the whole time. you do 3 minutes of strenght, 2 mins of cardio and 1 min of abs....in 3 sets. so just when you think you're gonna actually die, you're moving on to the next thing. it's good stuff!

  4. I've done the 30-Day Shred on and off for the last six months or so. I never stick with it because it hurts my joints so much! Muscle soreness I can handle, joint soreness I can't.

  5. I love the 30 Day Shred. I ordered it on Walmart.com and did the site to store pick up. I paid $9 plus tax and the shipping was free since I picked it up at the store. You will need an exercise mat and small hand weights. I started with 5 lb. weights because that is what I had, but I know some people prefer to start with 3 lb. weights. It is only 20 minutes in length. I work out on a regular basis and I was sweating good by the end of it and felt like I had a great workout.
